The Midget 18 u team opened this season playing a grueling 5 game set in the EJEPL Diamond/Platinum Divison showcase in Southern CT posting an impressive 4-1 record.   

The schedule pitted the Rebels against the very best teams in the East and Atlantic districts including last years national champions Delaware Ducks.  The weekend ended with a tough loss to the Holydell Huricanes but saw the squad out scoring all teams by an impressive 38 - 10 differential.

The Rebels opened the weekend with a 10-0 score against the southern CT stars forcing a running clock for the entire second half,  They went on to put the national champs Delaware Ducks to bed in a 7-3 domination and buried the NJ bandits 5-1

Wirh three wins under their belt in the first two days Sunday's aciton started off with a 12-1 win over the Quakers.  

Game 5 put the team against the undefeated Hollydell Huricanes who were playing only the third game of the showcase.  Fresh legs out lasted the Rebels who put on a valiant come from behind effort but wound up on the short side of a 5-4 loss.

The team put on an amazing show of puck movement the entire weekend and are now sitting on top of the ejepl standings.

The Mite spring practcie schedule was entered incorrectly as Monday 5:00 PM.  The CORRECT DAY IS TUESDAY 5:00 PM.  This was corrected on the schedule and is properly refelcetd on website.  We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

The spring practice schedule has been entered into each team calendar and master schedule on website.  Please check carefully as times and days may be different from week to week

This Week we will start practices for our 2015-2016 teams.  Please note if you did not hand in paperwork and deposit you must do so before you may skate at practice. If you did not attend a parent meeting you must schedule with John Zerillo to watch the organization video.

The times and dates below are for the week of 4/19 only as we may need to shift some slots around-

Monday 4/20 PW Major 6:10 - 7:10 (1/2 hour full, 1/2 hour split) 

Tuesday 4/21 Mites 5:00 - 6:00

Tuesday 4/21 PW Minor 6:10 - 7:10 (1/2 hour full, 1/2 hour split)

Weds 4/22 Sq Minor 5:50 - 6:50  (1/2 hour full, 1/2 hour split)

Weds 4/22 Sq Major 6:20 - 7:20  (1/2 Hr split, 1/2 Hr full)

Thursday 4/23 Bantam Minor 6:40 - 7:40 (1/2 Hr split, 1/2 Hr full)

Thursday 4/23 M16A 7:15 - 8:15 (1/2 hour full, 1/2 hour split)

Thursday 4/23 M16 AA 7:50 - 8:50 (1/2 hour full, 1/2 hour split)

Thursday 4/23 M18 AA 8:20 - 9:20 (1/2 Hr split, 1/2 Hr full)

The Midget 18U team and the Midget 16U A team have both advanced to the finals in the LIAHL Championship.  The M18U team, finishing fourth in the Long Island Hockey League standings downed the very tough first place Freeport Arrows 5-3 and the Midget 16U A team played the Skyliners to a 2-0 win.  Both games were played at Abe Stark in Brooklyn.  The Finals on Sunday will be a Great Neck-Rebels showdown as both the 18 and 16 U teams advanced for the Bruins.
