The Long Island Rebels are proud to announce the commitment of former Forward, Noah Wild, to the University of Southern Maine for the Fall of 2016. Wild was a forward on the LI Rebels 16U Tier III midget team for the 2011-12 season, spent a year at Northwood Prep in Lake Placid, NY, and played with the Junior Royals for the 2013-14 season. Wild spent the 2014-15 season with the Philadelphia Revolution EHL
Junior A team, returning to the Junior Royals for the end of season playoff run. For the 2015-16 season, Wild was the Captain of the New York Apple Core Junior A Premier team, and finished the season as the team scoring leader. According to Noah “the time I spent as a Rebel and Junior Royal helped me become the player I am today, and I am grateful for all I learned as a part of the Royals team with Coach Hoey and a part of the Rebels team with Coaches Corey, MacName, Dell’Isola”!
The Long Island Rebels wish Noah well as he continues his hockey career at the NCAA level with the USM Huskies! Noah’s mother, Lisa Wild, is our College Advisor, working with the Royals, Rebels and Lady Islanders. Please feel free to contact her (lisa.wild07@gmail.com) with any questions you might have before and during the college hockey process.
