The LI Rebels/Royals 18U Team continued their strong team play winning all 5 of their AYHL games over the past two weekends.     They first started with two wins at home against the Valley Forge Minutemen Elite team (7-3 & 12-3).
They then went on the road and shutout the Mercer Chiefs Elite team (7-0) with strong goaltending by Kevin Ries.  Then they traveled further south to play two games against Team Maryland Elite.  The team came from behind in both games and walked away with two big wins (2-1 & 4-3).  The boys played a strong physical game and were backed up with excellent goaltending by Kevin Becker.
The team now sits a top of the AYHL with a record of 11-1-1-1.
