2006-07 REBELS MIDGET 16 GO
NATIONAL
A great effort by the Rebel 16
team came up a little short in the National Semi-Final game. With
an empty net goal the final score was ND Starz 5 - LI Rebels
2. The Rebels Organziation is very proud of the teams players
and coaches for making it to the Nationals two years in a row.
The Midget 16 team (1991's) are a minor team playing even up
with majors.
The Rebels Organizations board,

LONG ISLAND REBELS 2005-06 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

- The L.I. Rebels Bantam Major team
made it to the finals of the USA Hockey National Championship by defeating the
Michigan Rattlers, Orlando Stars, and the Indianapolis Racers in a come from
behind overtime win. With many on Long Island listening to the live
game broadcast in East Lansing Michigan the Rebel Bantam team took on the Los
Angeles Hockey Team. In a hard fought shootout the Rebels came up short
but earned National respect with their effort. A small town rink in Dix
Hills, Long Island had a team earn not only a spot in the National
Championship Game but the admiration of hockey organizations across America.
We are not disappointed with the second place National finish but are very proud
of this team, it players, parents and coaches. We are
the home of the 2005-2006 National Champion Silver Medalist Bantam Team.

The Rebels PeeWee-B team
achieved their season-long goal on Sunday:
WINNING THE NEW
YORK STATE HOCKEY
CHAMPIONSHIP
The result: A 3-2 victory over Hudson Valley and a state championship for the
Rebels. Sunday's game in the NYSAHA Tier II State Tournament at Saratoga Springs
gave the Rebels a 4-0-1 record in the event and a 45-7-2 mark overall.
The Rebels Organization, Coaches, Parents, & Players are proud of the Peewee
teams' efforts.
