Official LI Rebels Gear!

Below is a link for the ONLY authorized place to purchase LI Rebels apparel and accessories. 

All items are made to order. 

Some of the items are already in stock. All orders will be picked up at Dix Hills Ice Rink. Please note that there are no returns on items as they are custom ordered. 

Lead times can be up to a few weeks, but these items are easier to get and make than the uniform items.

If you want something not pictured on the site, ask Coach Frank Dell'Isola know and he may be able to get it. We are also adding products, so keep checking back.

Rebels Bantam Major team goalie Shane Ryan earned a 6-0 shutout at the Boston Breakout Tournament vs. the New England Bulldogs.

The Game of the Week will be on Sunday 9-12-21 at 9:30am broadcast live on the Rebels website (watch for FREE).  The Rebels Bantam Minor team will host the L.I. Mustangs.

On August 21 the Long Island Rebels 10U team participated in the American Littoral Society 2021 NYS Beach Cleanup. Before the team set out on their task Coach Vinny Mannetta gave an inspiring speech about what it means to be a team and the importance of being good citizens on and off the ice.  He then unveiled the team's mantra for the 2021/22 season "May We All",  which is derived from the song of the same name from the band Florida Georgia Line. After a trying 2020 with little hockey and much despair, Vinny was listening to the radio and happened upon this song. What a perfect message for our team! It reminds us all that we need to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, the innocence of childhood and a hope that all people get to experience the fullness of life. Vinny and his Assistant Coach Mike Cartwright then lead the team to the beach where the cleanup began. 

The team did a fantastic job removing 43.5 lbs of trash from our beautiful LI beaches. They found many cans, bottles, bottle caps, straws, styrofoam, plastic cups and even a shoe. Not only did the team collect the trash but they meticulously documented each item they collected as the Littoral Society accumulates that information and uses it to better understand what pollutants are in our oceans. The team learned a great lesson about environmental responsibility and felt great about themselves and the work they had done.

The LI Rebels / Dix Hills Hawks, and Lady Islanders would like to thank all who participated in the NY Cancer Foundation Benefit Game at the Dix Hills Ice Rink. 

Special thanks to Josh Hirsh for coming in from New Jersey to do the broadcast and play by play on the live stream.

As of 8-30-21 the video has been viewed 500 times in 4 countries and 16 states.
